2018 Christine Taylor Collection Scholarship Application

Completed applications must be received at the PAVE office.

The mission of the Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) is to support students studying in the field of retail design and planning and visual merchandising; therefore, PAVE has created the Student Scholarship Program to assist students with funds to cover basic needs. In nine years, PAVE’s Scholarship Program has proudly granted over $180,000 to students.

The Christine Taylor Collection Scholarship recognizes and supports leadership potential in the field of Visual Merchandising through a $5,000 award*


  1. Student must be enrolled in a program working toward a degree in the retail environments industry.
  2. Student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
  3. Student must be in years 2 through 4 of their schooling.
  4. Student must be a full-time student enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.
  5. Student must be a U.S. citizen studying within the United States.

Application Requirements

The following items must be included along with your application form for your request to be considered:

  1. Two Letters of Recommendation
    • Their name, title and contact information
  2. Project Folio of 6 pages maximum: (8.5" x 11")
    • Describe/provide an example of a project (student based or professional) that you’ve worked on and that you are proud of (include supporting visuals) that demonstrates your ability or point of view related to the Visual Merchandising field/industry.
  3. Must include a copy of your transcript (official or unofficial)

  • 1. Letter of Explanation: (Max. 600 words)
  • 2. Project Folio of 6 pages maximum
  • 3. Two letters of recommendation
  • 4. Copy of your transcript (Official or Unofficial)

*Award sent directly to recipient’s institution (to be applied directly toward tuition or other applicable costs of schooling).

To be considered for these funds, I understand that I must be enrolled as a student in a program for visual merchandising or interior design. I am a full-time student enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours. The information I have provided and outlined in my letter is true.
