PAVE organizes annual real-world design challenges for students enrolled in retail-design programs. This is an overview of the PAVE 2011 Student Design Competition, which was sponsored by Sephora.
This annual competition (the 17th edition) was geared toward college-level students in retail planning, visual merchandising, and branding programs.
The competition’s design challenges consist of a visual merchandising category and a store design category and provide an excellent opportunity for students to obtain real-life retail design experience. Prizes include grants to students and schools, and winning students may even see their designs come to life in a Sephora environment.
This competition, like more PAVE Design Competitions, was open to undergraduate students to participate in visual merchandising and overall store design.
